Function Catering and Beverage Packages

Catering Options

We currently have six catering styles available, of which four are available for wedding receptions. For current pricing, please request an Info Package.

All of our Function Catering Packages include Tea and Coffee.

Our most expensive Beverage & Catering Package combination is $159 per person. If this is outside your budget, don’t worry – we have plenty of much cheaper options to choose from.

We do suggest that when you send out your guest invitations, ask them to RSVP with any dietary requirements (vegetarians, allergies etc).

  • Set Menu : 3-course

    Available for wedding receptions

    • Minimum of 30 adult guests in the Brodie Room
    • Minimum 50 adult guests in the Wisteria Room and Willow Room

    A formal style of catering available for lunch or dinner, served directly to your guests at their tables

    This style of catering represents about 30% of our formal events.

  • Semi-Set Buffet : 3-course

    Available for wedding receptions

    • Not available in the Brodie Room
    • Minimum 50 adult guests in the Wisteria Room and Willow Room

    This is our most popular style of catering. It is less formal than a Set Menu but more flexible with a greater variety of food. For this catering style, the Entrée and Dessert are served directly to the guests where as the Main course is from the Buffet table.

    This style of catering represents about 60% of our formal events.

  • Breakfast

    Available for wedding receptions

    • Minimum of 30 adult guests for the plated (set menu) style
    • Minimum 50 adult guests for buffet style (not in the Brodie Room)

     

  • Cocktail

    Available for wedding receptions

    • Minimum of 30 adult guests in the Brodie Room
    • Minimum 100 adult guests in the Wisteria Room
    • Minimum 80 adult guests in the Willow Room

    Used for a formal stand up Finger Food event.  Normally held for a two – four hour period (maximum is 4 hours).

  • Grazing Table

    Available for wedding receptions

    • Minimum of 30 adult guests in the Brodie Room
    • Minimum 100 adult guests in the Wisteria Room
    • Minimum 80 adult guests in the Willow Room

    A stand-up Finger Food event ideal for Birthday Parties and other “less formal” events. It is normally held over a two – four hour period (maximum is 4 hours).

    Based on the same catering as for the Cocktail style but without the same staffing requirements as the platters are placed onto tables for your guests to serve themselves.Morning or Afternoon Teas

    Ideal for informal events such as Birthday Parties and Baby Showers etc.

Beverage Options

When it comes to supplying alcohol and soft-drink, then you have a number of options available to you.  You have the choice of either fixed price, consumption or cash bar methods.

We generally do not recommend supplying spirits as part of the beverage package to your guests (they can be purchased over the bar).  Our experience is that guests will drink more than they would normally if they are not paying for it.

Sparkling wine for toasts is also available as an option (about 1 in 5 events want sparkling wine for toasts).  Or, if you like, you can have it available all night.

  • Fixed Price

    We have a number of fixed price packages available.

    All fixed packages are inclusive of tap beer, bottled wine and soft-drink.  The only difference between each package is the quality of the wine that is supplied.

    Fixed price packages cover the entire duration of your room booking.

  • Consumption

    This is a TAB and is the best method if you have either:

    • A lot of non-alcohol drinkers, or
    • A lot of guests over 45 years of age, or
    • A lot of spirit drinkers
      (if they are purchasing their own, then they are not using your TAB)

     

  • Cash Bar

    This is where your guests pay for their own drinks as they go.

    We have had events that will use a combination of both Consumption and Cash Bar, ie. Soft-drink on consumption and cash bar for alcohol.
